Our Double Shaft Hopper Pump is built with a hopper and an auger feed screw to efficiently pump highly viscous and non-flowing substances that feature exceptionally high solids content. These ATEX-rated industrial pumps, available with double shafts or a bridge breaker, incorporate an augmented auger feed screw to enhance hydraulic efficiency. Designed for pumping challenging substances with poor flow characteristics and up to 35% dry substance content, these pumps are customisable in length based on specific requirements.

  • Self-Priming: The hydraulic parts of these Hopper Pumps enable excellent self-priming (up to 7m)
  • Pin Joint: The pin-type joint, the ‘heart’ of the single screw pump, is an ideal solution that allows for the subdivision of axial loads and torque, enabling cost-effective replacement of worn parts
  • Materials: The parts in contact with the product can be manufactured in various materials, from Cast Iron to Stainless Steel (AISI 316L and 304). The rotating parts are manufactured in Stainless Steel AISI 420, except for the auger feed screw, which can be AISI 304/316 on request
  • Low Pulsating Flow: Tensional stress and pulsating flow are minimised owing to the low operating speed and the axial development of the pump. The centrifugal effect is reduced to a minimum, ensuring smooth and consistent flow
  • Shaft Sealing: Various sealing systems are available, including single-acting mechanical seal, double-acting mechanical seal back-to-back or tandem, and gland packing with or without flush. Seals are interchangeable on the standard pump
  • Base Plates: Base plates with considerable thickness are available in Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel
  • Joint Protection: Features a joint rubber sleeve and clamp protected by a unique device integrated into the end of the auger feed screw. This ensures the integrity of the joint, especially when pumping abrasive substances or those with solid particles
  • Modularity: These pumps offer modularity in hydraulic parts, casing, seals, base plates, housing, and drive shafts. Each component can be customised without altering the unit’s structure, allowing for adaptability to various applications
