Two Stage Regenerative Turbine Pump

Our Two Stage Regenerative Turbine Pump is designed for applications requiring low NPSHa, low flow, and high head. This specialised pump features double-stage construction with a Francis vane centrifugal impeller in the first stage, followed by 1 or 2 regenerative turbine impellers in subsequent stages. Designed to handle challenging fluids such as liquefied gas, condensate hydrocarbons, ammonia, and cryogenic liquids, these pumps are API685 compliant, ensuring reliability and efficiency in various applications.

Overview

Our Two Stage Regenerative Turbine Pump is a versatile solution for industries requiring precise and high-pressure fluid handling. Its unique design, incorporating both centrifugal and regenerative turbine principles, ensures smooth, balanced, and efficient pumping action. The pump’s sealless and leak-free mag drive construction further enhances its reliability and environmental safety, making it ideal for a wide range of demanding applications.

Features & Benefits
  • Sealless & Leak-Free Mag Drive Construction: Ensures environmental safety and operational reliability
  • Close & Long Coupled Configurations: Provides flexibility to suit different installation requirements
  • Double-Stage Design: Tailored for low NPSHa, low flow, and high head applications, offering superior pressure-building capabilities
  • Regenerative Principle: Facilitates smooth and balanced pumping action, with fluid traveling through vanes multiple times for higher pressure
  • Free-Floating Impeller Magnet: Ensures long life and trouble-free service by preventing thrust loads on motor bearings
  • Hydraulic Self-Centring: Stabilises the impeller in the cavity, enhancing operational stability

Regenerative Turbine Principle Benefits:

  • Fluid is directed to both sides of the impeller, creating a drawing force
  • Circulatory flow through the vanes generates fluid velocity
  • Multiple cycles of regeneration result in higher pressure-building capability
  • Capable of managing clean fluids and systems with close internal clearances
