Wastewater Process Pump

Our Wastewater Process Pump, designed specifically for domestic and industrial Wastewater applications, offers optimal performance in handling raw sewage and liquids containing fibres and solid particles owing to its ability to handle abrasive and corrosive fluids. Thanks to the versatile impeller options and durable construction, this pump excels in transferring wastewater from various points, such as treatment plants to discharge points or collection basins to treatment facilities. Additionally, 18 basic sizes are available with Sump and Vertical configurations for enhanced operational versatility. ATEX-rating is available for use in hazardous environments.

Typical applications for our Wastewater Process Pump:

  • Wastewater Treatment
  • Water Management
Overview

These pumps are used to transfer wastewater from one point to another, from a treatment plant to a discharge point, or from a collection basin to a treatment facility as examples. They are also used for handling solid-liquid mixtures and are able to handle suspended solids up to a certain size. Manufactured from materials such as cast iron, stainless steel and alloy, these pumps have been designed to withstand the abrasive and corrosive nature of wastewater.

Tapflo Wastewater Process Pump variants are available as follows:

  • TWPP: Tapflo Wastewater Process Pump
  • TWPP-S:  Tapflo Wastewater Process Pump – Sump
  • TWPP-V: Tapflo Wastewater Process Pump – Vertical
Features & Benefits
  • Available Impellers: Enclosed, Semi-Open and Vortex
  • ‘Back pull’ design, allowing for easy maintenance as complete bearing assembly, impeller and casing cover can be removed without dismantling the volute casing from the pipework. Spacer coupling also allows disassembly of the rotor without removing the electric motor
  • Flanges conform to EN1092-2/PN 10 or PN16. (EN 1092-1/PN 10 or PN 16 for steel/stainless-steel casing). ANSI/ASME flanges are also available
  • Dynamically and statically balanced impellers, in accordance with ISO 1940 Grade 6.3
  • Impellers utilise balancing holes to balance axial thrust
  • Vertical mounting allows for minimal footprint for small installation areas
  • Grease-lubricated bearings
