Horizontal Slurry Pump

Our Horizontal Slurry Pump is a Centrifugal Pump designed to handle abrasive and corrosive slurries. Manufactured from robust materials like Cast Iron, Stainless Steel, and Alloy, this pump can withstand the harsh abrasion of slurries, ensuring dependable operation in industries such as Mining, Mineral Processing, Construction, and Wastewater Treatment. Its wear plate and impeller, built from wear-resistant materials, prolong the pump’s lifespan. Additionally, it features an adjustable impeller with a two-way clearance adjustment system, a sliding base frame reducing downtime by up to 50%, and cost-effective spare parts for efficient maintenance. For added safety, it can be ATEX-rated on request, allowing for use in hazardous environments.

Typical applications for our Horizontal Slurry Pump:

  • Mining
  • Mineral Processing
  • Construction
  • Wastewater Treatment
Overview

As a norm, these pumps are usually manufactured from robust materials such as cast iron, stainless-steel and alloy, ensuring the pump is able to endure the abrasive nature of the slurry. This work horse can also handle particles up to a particular size. Equipped with wear-resistant materials on the wear plate and impeller, the lifetime of the pump is increased. These pumps are commonly used in a variety of industrial applications such as mining, mineral processing, construction and wastewater treatment. They are also available with different types of impellers such as Enclosed, Semi-Open or Vortex impellers to handle different types of slurries.

Features & Benefits
  • Available Impellers: Enclosed, Semi-Open and Vortex
  • Lined or unlined pumps available
  • Impeller can be set with two-way clearance adjustment system
  • Various drive options available (electric motor, belt driven, hydraulic drive etc.)
  • Option of sliding base frame, allowing the pumps to be disconnected from the pipework if there is no lifting equipment; this also reduces downtime by up to 50%. Only the back casing needs to be unbolted (the flanges can remain connected to the pipework)
  • Impeller can be set with a two-way clearance adjustment system
  • Sliding base frame which reduces downtime by up to 50%
  • Cost-effective spare parts
  • ATEX-rating available for use in hazardous environments
