Industrial Centrifugal Pump

Our Industrial Centrifugal Pump is a highly versatile option for a wide variety of applications. It offers users superior corrosion resistance and can also be ATEX Rated for pumping highly viscous fluids. When used in conjunction with some of our control accessories, this pump can be utilised for pressure boosting, dispensing, loading and offloading, tank cleaning, batching and metering.

Typical applications of our Industrial Centrifugal Pump:

  • Chemical
  • Mining
  • Oil & Gas
  • Packaging
  • Printing
  • Automotive
  • Wastewater Treatment Plants
Overview

Tapflo’s CTI Industrial Centrifugal Pump offers high mechanical and corrosion resistance for a plethora of applications at competitive pricing. The CTI Industrial Centrifugal Pump End Suction, Close Coupled, Single Stage Centrifugal Pumps feature either an Open (6 mm Solids Passage) or Semi-Open Impeller and are manufactured from Glass Blasted Stainless Steel AISI 316L to offer high mechanical and corrosion resistance for a plethora of applications at competitive pricing. The pump can also be ATEX certified on request.

Long-Coupled Centrifugal Pump

Tapflo’s CTI Pump is a long-coupled design that allows the pump to handle higher temperatures. Typically the CTI Pump can handle fluids that are a maximum of 90°C. When manufactured with a long-coupled design, the pump can handle up to 180°C.

We recommend this design for highly flammable fluids and use in harsh ATEX zones. The long-coupled design ensures that if the mechanical seal fails, harsh liquids will go on the floor rather than leak onto the motor, which could cause a spark.

While Industrial Centrifugal Pumps are typically used for tank-to-tank transfer applications, they can also be used for pressure boosting, dispensing, loading and offloading, tank cleaning, batching & metering, when used in conjunction with some of our wide range of control accessories.

Water Treatment: Pumping samples, dosing acids and alkalis for pH control. Transfer of flocculent, suspensions, chemical reagents and sludges. The pumps are resistant to hydrochloric acid and ferric chlorite, plus many others.

Paint, print, and varnish industry: Transfer of water – and solvent-based paints, ink, varnish, glue, adhesives and solvents. Transfer, recirculation and blending of ink in printing industries.

Mechanical industry: Handling of oil, fats, lubricants, cooling liquids, washing and cleaning liquids, solvents and waste products etc.

Pulp and paper industry: Transport of glue, sodium silicate, colour and titanium oxide etc. Bleaching products, sampling and wastewater handling.

Chemical Industry: Transfer of all kinds of acids, alkalis, alcohol, solvents and shear-sensitive products such as latex and emulsions, as well as chemical waste products.

Surface conditioning: Transport of chemicals from storage tanks, containers and baths, for example in pickling, galvanization and degreasing. Handling of waste products.

Demineralizing: Demi-water circulation and transfer in many industrial applications.

Liquid crystal manufacture: Pumping of concentrated acids and alkalis

Features & Benefits

The CTI Industrial Centrifugal Pump has been innovatively designed with only 19 components, enabling it to be maintained and troubleshot in a limited time frame. This results in very short downtimes and extremely low maintenance costs. In fact, in many cases, once installed, these pumps are maintenance-free! The modular design enables the pumps to be supplied with various build options, making it an incredibly robust and versatile pump suitable for a wide range of applications and installations.

The CTI Pump is also available with a drain plug that points down vertically from the pump head. Speak to a member of the team if you require a drain plug within your pump solution.
