BE160 D254 Multi-Use Pump

Tapflo UK is proud to be the exclusive UK Partner of BBA Pumps, a leading Dutch manufacturer of the highest-quality, best-in-class Diesel-Driven Sets and Self-Priming Centrifugal Pumps.

Our BE160 D254 Multi-Use Pump is a powerful 6-inch self-priming Centrifugal Pump designed for various demanding applications, particularly where dirty water containing solids up to 80 mm needs to be efficiently handled. This pump is available in two configurations: an electrically driven variant for standard applications and a diesel-driven variant for use in lesser-regulated countries, where stringent emissions regulations are not enforced. The pump’s design emphasises compactness, efficiency, and ease of integration into existing pipeline systems.

Overview

Our BE160 D254 Multi-Use Pump is designed to provide high flow rates and reliable operation across various demanding environments. The electrically driven version offers up to 300 mÂł/h flow with a total head of 17 mwc, making it suitable for standard applications requiring robust and continuous operation. The diesel-driven variant, designed for lesser-regulated countries, delivers up to 345 mÂł/h flow with a total head of 27 mwc, offering greater flexibility in off-grid or mobile scenarios.

Features & Benefits
  • High Solids Handling Capacity: Both variants can handle solids up to 80 mm, making them ideal for dirty water applications
  • Versatile Power Options: Available with either a highly efficient electric motor or a Stage IIIA diesel engine for use in lesser-regulated countries
  • Large Capacity: With flow rates of up to 345 mÂł/h, the BE160 D254 can handle high-volume pumping tasks effectively
  • Durable Construction: Built from cast iron as standard, with other materials available on request to meet specific needs
  • Self-Priming Technology: Designed for quick and efficient self-priming, reducing setup time and increasing operational efficiency
  • Wet Self-Priming: Ensures reliable operation in various conditions, reducing the need for manual intervention
  • Extended Service Life: Features like a cooled shaft seal and replaceable wear plate extend the pump’s operational life, reducing maintenance costs
  • Flexible Deployment: The diesel variant can be supplied on a road or site trailer, making it easy to transport and deploy in remote or challenging locations
