Vertical Heavy Duty Monoblock Pump

Our Vertical Heavy Duty Monoblock Pump is a Centrifugal Pump designed to meet the demands of high pressure and high flow rate applications. This rigidly coupled pump merges the pump, drive shaft and motor onto a single unit, ensuring simple installation and maintenance procedures. Ideal for heavy-duty industrial applications such as Wastewater Treatment and Chemical Processes, this pump, constructed from materials including Cast Iron, Stainless Steel and Alloy, ensure greater resistance to and handling of abrasive liquids. Its vertical configuration offers a smaller footprint, making it an optimal choice where space is limited, while an optional ATEX-rating ensures safe operation in hazardous environments.

Typical applications for our Vertical Heavy Duty Monoblock Pump:

  • Industrial
  • Wastewater Treatment
  • Water Supply
  • Irrigation
  • Chemical
Overview

These Monoblock pumps typically consist of a single unit that combines the pump, drive shaft and motor which allows for easy installation and maintenance. The design of these pumps makes them ideal for use in applications where space is limited or where frequent relocation of the pump is required. Thanks to its vertical design, this pump allows for a more compact footprint. It also allows for higher pressure and head capabilities, making it suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications such as wastewater treatment, water supply, irrigation and chemical process.

These pumps are typically constructed with robust materials such as cast iron, stainless steel and alloy to withstand high pressure and abrasive liquids. They also have superior seals and bearings to ensure long service life.

Features & Benefits
  • ‘Back pull’ design, allowing for easy maintenance as complete bearing assembly, impeller and casing cover can be removed without dismantling the volute casing from the pipework. Spacer coupling also allows disassembly of the rotor without removing the electric motor
  • Flanges conform to EN1092-2/PN 16. (EN 1092-1/PN 16 for steel/stainless-steel casing). ANSI/ASME flanges are also available
  • Dynamically and statically balanced impellers in accordance with ISO 1940 Grade 6.3
  • Impellers utilise balancing holes to balance axial thrust
  • Built with robust materials such as Cast Iron, Stainless Steel and Alloy
  • Withstands abrasive liquids commonly found in industrial applications
  • Vertical design allows for smaller footprint (where space is limited)
  • ATEX-rating available for use in hazardous environments
