Hot Water Centrifugal Pump
A picture of our Centrifugal Pump designed for Hot Water

Hot Water Pump

Our Hot Water Pump is a heavy-duty Centrifugal Pump designed for hot water and geothermal applications such as heating and cooling systems, industrial processes and power generation. These pumps, featuring dynamically or statically balanced impellers, are typically constructed with special materials such as Stainless Steel, and are capable of withstanding the high temperatures and corrosive natures of liquids used in Industrial, Chemical, and Oil & Gas industries. The construction of this pump is similar to that of our ISO2858 Centrifugal Pump, however, due to the centreline mounting design, coupling misalignment caused by thermal expansion is significantly reduced. Additionally, ATEX certification is available for safety in hazardous zones.

Typical applications for our Hot Water Centrifugal Pump:

  • Industrial
  • Chemical
  • Oil & Gas
  • Energy
Overview

These reliable heavy-duty pumps are used in a wide range of applications such as heating and cooling systems, industrial process and power generation. These pumps are available in different designs such as end-suction, in-line, close-coupled and vertical multistage. The pumps can be powered by electric motor or engine and are also available in different sizes and with different elastomers for the seals to suit the specific application and temperature requirements. Equipped with temperature sensors and thermal protection devices to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Features & Benefits
  • ‘Back pull’ design, allowing for easy maintenance as complete bearing assembly, impeller and casing cover can be removed without dismantling the volute casing from the pipework. Spacer coupling also allows disassembly of the rotor without removing the electric motor
  • Flanges conform to EN1092-2/PN 25 or PN40. (EN 1092-1/PN 25 or PN 40 for steel/stainless-steel casing). ANSI/ASME flanges are also available
  • Dynamically and statically balanced impellers, in accordance with ISO 1940 Grade 6.3
  • 28 basic sizes all conforming to ISO2858 norms, with 10 additional sizes on special processes
  • Closed impellers utilise balancing holes and Semi-Open impellers use back ribs to balance axial thrust
  • Bearings used are oil-lubricated
  • Dry Shaft design ensures that the shaft is not in contact with the fluid
