Double Suction Centrifugal Pump

Our Double Suction Centrifugal Pump is typically used in applications where large flow rates and high heads are required. With the pump body and impeller constructed from Stainless Steel, this pump, characterised by its unique design that allows for the simultaneous intake of liquid on both sides of the impeller, delivers a more balanced distribution of the liquid being pumped, a feature that improves the overall efficiency and stability of the pump. For enhanced durability, this pump features a split case design, with anti-clockwise rotation options available to suit various operational requirements. Additionally, ATEX-certification is available for for enhanced safety in hazardous zones.

Typical applications for our Double Suction Centrifugal Pump:

  • Water Supply & Water Treatment
  • Irrigation
  • Water Heating & Cooling Systems
  • Industrial
  • Circulating Systems
  • Fire Fighting
  • Power Plants
Overview

The Horizontal Double Suction Pump is typically used in applications where large flow rates and high heads are required, such as water supply, irrigation and HVAC systems. These pumps are constructed with a Stainless Steel pump body and impeller which make it suitable for use with a variety of corrosive and abrasive liquids.

Features & Benefits
  • Axial split case, single stage, double suction Centrifugal Pumps offering horizontal or vertical installation options
  • Split case design allows for easy disassembly of the rotor group for maintenance without distorting pump alignment and suction/discharge piping
  • Flanges conform to EN1092-2/PN 16 or PN25. (EN 1092-1/PN 16 or PN 25 for steel/stainless-steel casing). ANSI/ASME flanges are also available
  • Dynamically and statically balanced impellers, in accordance with ISO 1940 Grade 6.3
  • High bearing life and reliability from double suction design, which increases suction performance and provides hydraulic axial force balancing
  • Anti-clockwise rotation available on request
  • Grease-lubricated ball bearings (used in horizontal installation)
