Single Stage End Suction Centrifugal Pump

Our Single Stage End Suction Centrifugal Pump is a Close-Coupled Centrifugal Pump encompassing the HD, HG and RS models. There are a range of impeller options available for these pumps including Semi-Open and Vortex Impellers. These pumps from our partner Salvatore Robuschi, are constructed from Stainless Steel AISI 316 with the casing and impeller manufactured from investment casting technology. Additionally, flanges are available in PN16 (reduced thickness) or DIN 11851 food-grade connections, with easy interchangeability of spares and parts for enhanced versatility in operation. With a maximum working pressure of 8 Bar, these pumps ensure heavy-duty performance in handling aggressive organic and inorganic liquids in the Chemical industry.

Typical applications for our Single Stage End Suction Centrifugal Pump:

  • Chemical
  • Petrochemical
  • Industrial
  • Wastewater Treatment
  • Municipal
  • Textile
  • Oil & Gas
  • Pulp & Paper
Overview

HD & HG Centrifugal Pump Series:

The HD & HDA Series consists of Single Stage Centrifugal Pumps with Open or Closed Impellers with either Industrial Flanges (HD/HG) or Food Grade Connections (HDA/HGA). These units are built following DIN 24256 & EN 22858 Standards through the precision cast and pressed AISI 316L Stainless Steel and are suitable for a plethora of applications within the Chemical, Food, Pharmaceutical, Water & Waste Water and Textile industries. Other alloys such as Sanicro 28 are also available on request.

These pumps can also be fitted with DIN 11851 food connections for use in sanitary and hygienic markets. (HDA / HGA / RSA Range)

The Closed Impeller (HD) Centrifugal Pump is suitable for conveying clean liquids or liquids containing small percentages of solids in suspension. The Open Impeller (HG) Centrifugal Pump is ideal for pumping liquids with solids in suspension (not filamentous), viscous fluids and those with entrained gases or air.

Pumps of the Open Impeller (HG) range are designed to pump liquids containing non-fibrous particles, viscous liquids and fluids containing entrained gases or air.

Thanks to their simple and modular construction, they ensure limited spare parts stocking and low running costs. The sealing systems available are so complete that these pumps are often used for difficult applications. The execution with food connections is also available with shrouded motors. The maximum working pressure is 8 Bar, according to the pump size. All pump sizes are equipped with IEC standard electric motors.

All pumps are heavily customisable, including various sealing systems, and come with high-efficiency volute casings, ensuring compliance with most applications requiring a heavy-duty centrifugal pump.

RS Centrifugal Pump Series:

The RS & RSA Series consists of Single Stage Centrifugal Pumps with Recessed Vortex Impellers with either Industrial Flanges (RS) or Food Grade Connections (RSA). These units are built under ISO 2858 Chemical & ISO 5199 Mechanical Norms. ISO 5199 defines the maximum allowable shaft deflection, mechanical resistance and ball bearing minimum lifetime, ensuring that Centrifugal Pumps built to this standard offer excellent reliability in Industrial and Chemical applications, surpassing those built to EN 733 Standards. ISO 5199 Norms provide a shaft deflection of 0.05 mm and a minimum bearing lifetime of 18’000 hours of operation.

These pumps are ideally placed pumping fragile, long and filamentary solids without clogging or causing any damage to the product. Most of the liquid crosses the pump casing without contacting the impeller. This ensures that all crystals, delicate solids, granules, flakes of biologic mud, leather parts, etc. are not damaged. Furthermore, the Vortex Impeller design also allows pumping fluids with up to 50% entrained gases and fluids with a viscosity up to 700 cPs.

Thanks to their simple and modular construction, this range of Centrifugal Pumps ensure limited spare parts stocking and low running costs. The sealing systems available are so complete that these pumps are often used for difficult applications. The execution with food connections is also available with shrouded motors. The maximum working pressure is 8 Bar, according to the pump size. All pump sizes are equipped with IEC standard electric motors.
